Legal notice

Hi,

I'd like to see a "legal notice" feature implemented into OSClass. For example, in Germany we have to put an "Impressum" on commercial sites, containing our address, the general terms and conditions of the site, certain disclaimers, and so on. If these things are missing one can easily be sued

Hi Joe,

I'm working on a plugin to adapt OSClass to the LOPD Spanish Law (LOPD stands for Ley Organica de Protección de Datos (Data Privacy Law).) , I don't think it's the same as yours but IT could be useful two.

Features of the plugin:
- You MUST accept the terms and conditions to register an account (it's not possible to register without it)
- Existing users will not be able to use the site without accepting it (they could log-in, but a message will appear saying they MUST accept terms and conditions in order to continue with the site)
- Users could delete their accounts (requirement of the LOPD) only if the admin allow them to do it (the admin could not allow account deleting if the user has some pending actions -premiums ads, or something)
- Admin help to make your site fully compatible with LOPD.


I will release it shortly, it's still in beta. Is there something German-specific ?

when will you release the plugin?
Would it be possible to test the beta?

In german law, you also have to accept the privacy policy and it would be best, if the checkboxes are also on every add new listing form.

It's known to have a few errors I will fix during this week.


The problem, is that it's in Spanish only.
