XML generator Plugin ERROR

Hi, I need help with XML plugin intalation. Just need to know in which file and what to change manually. Each time I trayed to install it, I get this error:

Hi PartySan,

If you upgrade to 2.3.5 that will take care of the error.

Are You shure? I'm just affraid of loosing all my remaked files if I will try to upgrade. Much better for me should be just to edit some files.

Can somebody answer my topic question?
