Works great! I've got a demo version running with BCute theme here: http://ivcity.com/osclass/
(In my demo, I have the piece of code positioned within my main.php file immediately below: <div class="latest_ads"> )

There is, however, a slight error (it's now been fixed!) in the code provided in the Help section.
You have: <?php if function_exists('carousel') {carousel();} ?>

Should be: <?php if(function_exists('carousel')) {carousel();} ?>

Otherwise works great so far!  ;D

If I use this plugin all my ads from first page disappear.
I use Os Class version 2.3
Any ideas why it does that?

the number of displayed ads (in plugin) is higher than the number of available ads.
add more ads and will work

btw, I just installed and seems to work perfectly.
thanks

@Needle,

Like seb said you need to have more ads then what is displayed so if the number to show is set for 5 you need to have at least 5 ads or more for the carousel to show ads other wise it will cause errors.

@seb,

Glad to hear the plugin is working for you.

Huge Plugin,

It works perfect, I place it on: Startpage/ Searchlist and Item Page.

Question – Is it Posible to make extension like sub/category specific.

For example if somebody search for cars – carousel shows only car premium Ads.

So for each category, subcategorie or searchfield input.  on startpage carousel shows mix of all categories (on first Instance Premium ads).
If there no inaf premium ads for one categorie – carousel take in second instance normal ads from this categorie, if there no inaf ads - carousel take in third instance mix of all premium ads. – That’s first Idea for second one just look on “example4”.

Suggestion...

Jay, right now in 2.0 the ad title gets abruptly clipped to 30 characters. I wanted to indicate to the viewer that the title was longer by using the standard "..." at the end.

Ex: "This is a sample ad title that..."

I used this bit of code that works great within the file carousel_detail.php:

Code: [Select]
if(strlen(osc_item_title())>30) echo '...';
I just added it in like this:

Code: [Select]
<a href="<?php echo osc_item_url() ; ?>"><?php echo substr(osc_item_title(),0,30) ;  if(strlen(osc_item_title())>30) echo '...'?></a>
