An error has occurred while sending email

Hello, when I try to configure SMTP and I check the SMTP authentication box, when sending an email I get the error "An error has occurred while sending email".

in short I can't use the smtp submissions

I have osclass 3.8

What are authenticating against ? Your provider ? Or locahost or what ?

So you are sending via an external smtp service. Since Osclass doesn't suffer from this problem, probably you should ask them for what error they see in their logs.

So you are sending via an external smtp service. Since Osclass doesn't suffer from this problem, probably you should ask them for what error they see in their logs.


I just activated the debug mode but it doesn't show any error.

I started a clean installation of osclass and it is the same message, the message appears to me when I try to send a template



if I activate the option "SMTP authentication enabled" clearly won't let me send mail, directly is the option that allows you to use SMTP... I don't understand why he won't let me use it...
