Hi,
I have set a system cron on my Godaddy hosting which runs hourly. The command I used is : wget DomainName.com/index.php?page=cron -O /dev/null
I had myself not set any email notification upon cron run.

Still, I am receiving email notifications every hour about cron execution. I contacted Godaddy to stop email notification. After long examination, they concluded that, the auto email notification is executed by the osclass index.php file. They asked me to edit the code. I am not a coder. Can anybody guide me to resolve this issue.

Thanks.

This doesn't come from Osclass. Definitely. This is the one i use and never got any email.

This comes probably from Cpanel Cron Email settings.

Send an email with the output every time the cron job runs. less »

You can have cron send an email every time it runs a command which produces output. If you do not want an email to be sent for an individual cron job, you can redirect the command’s output to /dev/null. For example: mycommand >/dev/null 2>&1
Current Email

Hi Dimal,
             Thanks for response.

Since last 7-8 days I have been constantly calling Godaddy customer care to get this resolved. Ultimately their conclusion was to check the script. They even said that its the index.php where I should look for.

Couple of days back, I had even reset my cpanel account completely and restored back the database and public_html files, created new email. The website functioned correctly as expected. But again as soon as I set the cpanel cron, it started sending me email notifications.

As i said, Osclass sends NO CRON notices. Read my post above, i explained with details where to search. CPANEL, CRON.
