I will past here cause there are a lot of file and photos

so
to intgrate fancybox in your site:

copy the folder fancybox to oc-content/themes/modern/js/
copy item.php to oc-content/themes/modern/

and that's it

good luck  ;D

I integrated fancybox on my website, you can see it on http://forsyrian.com

that was so easy  8)

now it's look more nice  ;D

WOW!! It's look cool!
It's a theme issue, so it's low priority, but I think you could see it in OSClass in a not-so-far future! It's really looks nice.

I activated both website and backoffice BG, but it doesn't change language in backoffice only. It's still in English! Also, i have found some missing translations between rc3 and rc6 version of osclass open source software. I even didn't succed to post new item, i will try fresh installation of rc6 tomorrow.

Perhaps you should logout and then choose the BG language when you login to oc-admin. Have you set as default BG language in "General Settings"?

Hello, my 2.0 RC6 translation is adapted for 2.0 stable release now. I have no time to test it myself right now, but if someone finds some lexis mistake, he/she can PM me and I will edit it ASAP. Thank you in advance!

ok,in case anyone is interested here's a simple 'hack' to limit the number of uploadable pics :

item.form.class.php - photos_javascript function , change function addNewPhoto to :

function addNewPhoto() {
        var id = 'p-' + photoIndex++;
        if (photoIndex > 3) {photoIndex = 3; return false;}
        else
        {
        var i = ce('input');
        i.setAttribute('type', 'file');
        i.setAttribute('name', 'photos[]');

        var a = ce('a');
        a.style.fontSize = 'x-small';
        a.setAttribute('href', '#');
        a.setAttribute('divid', id);
        a.onclick = function() { re(this.getAttribute('divid')); --photoIndex; return false; }
        a.appendChild(document.createTextNode('<?php _e('Remove'); ?>'));

        var d = ce('div');
        d.setAttribute('id', id);
        d.setAttribute('style','padding: 4px 0;')

        d.appendChild(i);
        d.appendChild(a);

        gebi('photos').appendChild(d);
        }
    }

i allow 4 pictures here , but you can change to any number you like.

I think one of the biggest issues is no captcha on add items. I don;t want to force people to signup if I can help it as it will turn a lot of people away. However, this opens you up to spam as there is no captcha on this page.

Trying to add capctha just seems like a nightmare using the default I mean this application is good but it seems that it has gone a little out of the way to be too OO and that has made it overly complex for plugin developers.

Hi Dannymh,

It could be a little tricky at the beginning, as well as starting development for Wordpress, but once you know the basics I think it's very easy to develop for OSClass.

Anyway, I think yours is a great idea, so we're definetly add it to OSClass, you could follow the development here :
http://issues.osclass.org/browse/OSCLASS-561

Thanks!!!

conejo, i meant no offense sorry. I come from a background of custom PHP applications and largely doing Joomla the past few years so trying to get my head around the wordpress way of doing things is just taking time

Hi Dannymh,

It's fine! For me Joomla is too complicated. The problem is that I develop OSClass (at least a big chunk) so I know how it works... But it's good to heard that something is too difficult or complicated, so we could improve.

BTW, I'm currently adding recaptcha and ... yeah, it's kind of a nightmare. What I didn't think of before, is that you can only have one instance of recaptcha on the same page, so you were right, it's not easy (but it's not our fault! it's recaptcha! hahaha)

Thanks

why do you need to use recaptcha anyways?
you could do your own captcha then use it the way you like :)
