« on: May 12, 2011, 02:26:39 pm »
Hi everyone ..  I am new to Osclass and would like to congratulate the team for great work done ..  I just started working on my site and would like to reduce the size .  I tried to modify the css file under oc-content/themes/modern  "my current theme" ,  but this didn't change anything. Is there anyone out there who can help me . Thanks in advance !!

What exactly with the size are you trying to reduce and why?
It is already very lightweight. You could lose some images I guess

Thanks for the reply ..  by size I mean like the width of the  site ..  Like when you are building a site in html-css  ...  in the css file you declare
body <--- for managing the size of the size of the site (Sorry for all this mess , but this is the only way I can express myself) .. To be clear , i want to put the site in an iframe (which can not be resized for various reasons) , since my osclass site is wider than the iframe , users have to keep on scrolling to see parts of the site . I would like to reduce the width of the site so that users can see the whole site on the iframe.

Thanks in advance

You have to modify several lines and styles in the CSS:
    - #header
    - #form_publish .search
    - .content
    - .home #main
    - .home #sidebar
    - .item #main

Perhaps I forgot some styles that you may change.
