When is this currency symbol placement going to be fixed?
« on: April 29, 2011, 04:46:08 am »
As you can see at the attached pic it seems to be a problem placing the currency-symbol to the right when the amount is bigger than 2 diggits.

Hi Swede,

I'm sure it has somethign to do with the style.css file, since I'm not a css-genius I can not help you, but I'm pretty sure the problem is that the css specify a small width for the price. Maybe some other user could help you.

Thanks

hi
open the style.css file, find this line, it should be around 97 line:
Code: [Select]
.home #main .latest_ads table td.price { padding-left:25px; }
change it to:
Code: [Select]
.home #main .latest_ads table td.price { padding-left:25px; width:100px;}
you can change the 100 as you wish

good luck

Another option
Don't change the width of the cell, but avoid it's content to be wrapped

Code: [Select]
.home #main .latest_ads table td.price { padding-left:25px;white-space:nowrap;}
This is only for the "latest items" on the front page
If u want to do the same for the listing pages, it's a few line after

Code: [Select]
.ad_list table td.price { padding-left:25px;white-space:nowrap;}
