[Plugin] Osclass Htaccess Editor

Htaccess Editor

Hi friends,
This is a simple osclass plugin to edit htaccess file from your dashboard. I have also added some sample snippets to add in your htaccess files.
Please make a backup of your default htaccess file before making any changes to it. Badly configured htaccess file may cause internal server error.
Please share your suggestion, feedbacks  and about your performance improvement, they will surely help me to make better plugins.  :)

Thanks and Regards
Navjot Tomer

plugin installed, but could somebody explain in slightly more detail than the snippit description, what each snippet actually does. I don't feel comfortable yet just adding something that I do not understand. I'm sure they are effecient snippets, but I just need to know in laymans terms what they do.

Look forward to hearing from you guys.

cheers

Hi all
What is the usual practice of setting the htaccess with and without htaccess plugin?

It appears not to be working with 3.1.2 and 3.2.0 [modern theme]. It installs OK, but Plugins menu in left panel suddenly moves at top (above all other menu items like Dashboard etc) and gives blank screen when clicked to configure. Also, when I unzip htaccess_editor-ht_editor.zip, plugin is not detected/visible in Manage plugins lists (I have to shorten it to htaccess_editor for example).

[SOLVED] Folder must be shortened/renamed to ht_editor (not htaccess_editor). It is working in both 3.1.2 and 3.2.0, but in latest 3.2.0 version it still messes up the position of Plugins on top of all menu items (it is inconvinient because now when I hover over Plugins, Plugins pop-up menu appears half behind the theme header in browser).

Thanks navjottomer, it works better now (it is under Realestate plugin submenu, but this is also happening for some other plugins like Sitemap is under Cars... not a big deal). I could probably manually edit admin panel to sort that out, but it is not a priority :)

cheers!
